Maybe it’s just an accident, but I was surprised to see that the top search result on Google for Avrim Blum is not Avrim’s page, but rather John Langford‘s:
No idea whether this a prank or just an accident.

Avrim tells me this has happened before, but he doesn’t know whether it’s a prank either! I notice that Yahoo (where John is a researcher) doesn’t make the same mistake. More circumstantial evidence?

This looks like a parsing (or deeper logical) bug on Google’s part, who report the title of the page as “Blum, Avrim” despite neither the link nor the cache including those terms? That’s not the title of the page to which it links.

More evidence for a bug ?
These pages identified by Google as linking to jcl’s page seem to be missing any link to it.
