The other talks in the invited session on Human-Computer Interaction with Information, by Ed Chi and Jeff Heer, were fantastic, as was the joint keynote on visualization by Fernanda Viégas and Martin Wattenberg.

Thank you for these great slides. I should have attended SIGIR just to chat with you. I think we share a common vision, though I come from the DB angle. (Well, I knew that before you posted the slides…)
