Thanks–I imagine that Microsoft is in a good position to optimize for interaction among its tools. As for your employer’s enterprise search competition, I’m not familiar with the details, but that is sad–I’d do hope we’ll get to work together someday.

we use LiveLink OpenText for our content management (long-lived, archives, official stuff), and a combination of MOSS and Confluence for group/community collaboration and information sharing. Definitely SP for file sharing when its a work in progress. As much as I hate SP, it’s really cool how it integrates with Office (including outlook) and Communicator. Of course your company withdrew from the enterprise search competition at my place of work
