Just wanted to let readers know that I’m attending Times Open, learning about how the New York Times is opening up its APIs to better engage the developer community. Follow the day remotely (or non-remotely) in real time on Twitter!

This sounds like an exciting event! I wish I could have attended. Do you know if they will be publishing the APIs in some public place? (Their announcement web site didn’t link to it.)

I’m curious about it, but too bad I’m 8 gazillion miles away. I checked out the API and was a little disappointed that only snippets of articles are returned. The reasons for that are understandable, I suppose, but it really limited the usefulness to me. To basically nil. And I’m just talking articles API, not the rest (which I haven’t checked out).
(I like the preview comment plugin, btw)
